July/August 2005
The fish are really schooled up now and when you get on a hole you catch them one after another. My Lake Okeechobee fishing guides are catching around 20- 50 bass each day here on Okeechobee.

June 2005
Usually the fish will start to come out to the outside grass lines and feed, but the water here on Okeechobee is staying up so the Bass are staying back.

The bass have very easy to catch on a variety of lures….like the Zoom Horny Toad, Rattle traps and even Carolina rigs…..and don’t let me forget the shiner fishing is the BEST…Big Okeechobee Bass!

The Bass here on Lake Okeechobee are still spawning in some areas, but the major spawn is done.

March has been a great month and finally the fish are eating the lures real good...

What a fantastic year it has been so far, The water is still somewhat dirty, but is clean in a few spots, and
when you get in them, the fish are more than willing to bite...

Although the fish seem to be limited to the south end of the lake, and the
fishing pressure is getting tremendous, the fish continue to be very cooperative.

Fishing down on the south end of Lake Okeechobee was far better than up on the north shore...

Our fishing guides are also catching tons of bass on artificial lures,
but the size of the bass on lures are more in the 1.5 to 3.5 pound range...

The lake is still very muddy in most areas but there are some areas
behind or close to the grass line that are dingy to clear...

It looks like the lake is slowly coming down with a little luck and no rain...

Yesterday, I had out Gary Berman and his wife from Miami. This was their first time
fishing freshwater and we managed to catch a couple of nice bass up to 5.23 pounds..
