Why choose us over everyone else out there?

1. We have built our name and reputation
on taking people fishing on Florida's Lake Okeechobee since 1981. We pride ourselves on making sure that you will have the trip of a lifetime as well as learning a lot of fishing techniques to make you a better fisherman.

2. Clewiston is located on the south-west side of lake Okeechobee and has the best access to entire lake. So, no matter which area of the lake the fish are biting on or what direction the wind is, we will always be able to get you there easily and safe.

3. Clewiston is a small town (pop.10,000) with a big Heart and full of people that loves fisherman. We want you to relax and enjoy your stay and we never have a traffic jam here.

4. Angler's Marina and Roland Martin Marina are now one huge marina working together for you...the fisherman, side by side on the shores of Lake Okeechobee.
There is other guide services out there that will take you on a fishing trip, but the accommodations are not very convenient. We want you to come back year after year and see us.

What to Expect?

BOAT? All of my guides including me are running new model boats that are 20 to 21 feet long so that you are more than comfortable on the water, even if the wind blows. I personally have a Ranger Bass Boat (21 feet long) with a Evinrude 225 H.O. motor and it is awesome!

Tackle? We will provide all of the tackle, rods and reels at no extra charge.
All of the equipment is high quality and easy to use. We will provide bait casting as well as spinning gear. You are welcome to bring as much of your own gear as you would like, especially if you have a lucky lure or fishing pole. Live bait is extra.

Food and drink? We all have large coolers on board, so bring water and your favorite snack or you can get every thing at Roland Martins Marina / Angler's Marina. We also have a great restaurant so you will be able to grab a good breakfast and they will also make you a boxed lunch to go.

Sunglasses and sunscreen? Try to bring your favorite sun screen and if you forget, don't worry we have plenty. Make sure your sun glasses are polarized this will help you see much more. Lake Okeechobee is very shallow and clear and if you come when the bass are spawning you will see a lot of fish swimming around.

Winter months? Bring some warm clothes! It will usually be cold in the morning and it will warm up quickly in the late morning. Our air temp. in the winter usually around 70-75 degrees and our water temp. is usually 65-75 degrees.
